there was a big glass globe with some 3-D scene (usually
Christmas-oriented) and when you turned them upside down
or shook them, there appeared to be snow swirling around the scene.
Fast forward to the age of computers and there is no water,
no 3-D scene and no snow, just sparkling bits of light in a
two-dimensional globe... but how pretty they are...
I have received these from groups I belong to and from friends...
many of them will link to another site if you click on the globe...
if you click and don't go anywhere, they are just there to admire....
